REVIEW: THE HUNGER GAMES
WOW. It feels like I’ve been waiting a very long time for this movie. I read the books more than a year back and boy has there been a build-up for this movie. I did have my doubts when they started comparing this to Twilight. IT IS NOT TWILIGHT, there is no TEAM PEETA or TEAM GALE! So annoying. All in all, the movie lived up to the hype. There was no corny lines or bad humour and some solid acting. Kudos to Stanley Tucci and his surprise smile haha!

Officially a Swifty now. I KNOW. Converted with no shame what so ever. I may have been one of few 23yr olds there with my friend, but we loved it! I used to rag her out so much and now I think I know all her songs. That doesn’t mean I listen to Bieber or Miley now!! Hater’s gonna hate, but she’s a cool funny chick and no one can deny that she’s got talent. Her songs are so catchy, she was appropriately loud and simply adorable!

REVIEW: The Help
Was more deep and serious than I thought it was going to be. Kudos to Emma Stone. First saw her in Zombieland which she was awesome in. Then in Easy A…I guess every actor/actress has to do a stupid teen movie in their time right? But she impressed me in The Help. Her comedic expressions are pretty funny but it was her serious side that was endearing. I don’t need to tell anyone that it highlights some unfortunate equalities in the past but it also sends out some really important messages and morals for today’s generation. Fairly good movie!

I survived a 9HR CONFERENCE on a Saturday!
It’s true. Got some pretty classy meals and learnt a crap load as well!! Happy learning, who would have thought?
FIRST GIG.
Our band performed for the first time today. Just played at a social club but I must admit it was pretty exciting! Way different from playing at Music festivals and competitions when I was younger. Even though there was alot of people, it was a really chilled atmosphere and crowd. We could have just sat on stage and started eating watermelons, I’m sure these guys would be cheering the world for us. Besides the tech guys stuffing up my keyboard amps and making me sound like a bloated elephant in one song…it was a good night!
